Gun owners in Las Vegas can practice shooting on gun club ranges in the city.
Almost a third of the American public has a gun at home. Gun owners may want to access a shooting range for practice shooting, take a gun safety class or discuss issues relating to gun ownership with other gun owners. Las Vegas gun clubs offer a venue for gun owners to connect with other gun owners, learn more about guns and practice on the range.
Gun Store of Las Vegas
The Gun Store of Las Vegas provides opportunities for individuals to buy or rent a gun or simply use a gun for a few hours. Rental and sale guns include Beretta 92 FSs, Walther P9s, Glocks and Rugers. The Gun Store offers classes towards obtaining a permit to carry a concealed firearm and classes in firearm security and safety, self-defense, defensive tactics, taser operation and pepper spray training. Additional classes target women and children in order to educate them about gun usage and safety. Gun owners can access the firing range for target practice by purchasing a membership that allows them to use the range with the gun type and the amount of ammunition that their membership (Premium, Exclusive or Vegas VIP) allows.
Desert Sportsman's Rifle & Pistol Club
The Desert Sportsman's Rifle & Pistol Club (DSRPC) has an open range for practice shooting every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Individuals may take out memberships in the DSRPC as youth (8-18 years old), annually or for life (with discounts for senior citizens). Members may bring up to four guests with them when they come to shoot on the range. The DSRPC has a number of organized groups that practice on the club's range, such as groups who shoot with different types of handguns and rifles, groups that shoot with vintage-issue rifles and shooters for the civilian marksmanship program. DSRPC does not sell or rent firearms, but does have safety courses for gun owners and individuals who want to learn more about gun safety.
Las Vegas Gun Range and Firearm Center
