Instructions
1. Decide who you would like to be for Halloween. Possible ideas include Kate Gosselin, Lady Gaga, and Marilyn Monroe. All of these women are readily identifiable and so make great costume ideas.
2. Select your blonde wig. Determine what length it will be and whether it will have any distinguishing highlights. For example, Kate Gosselin's hair is short and spikey in the back. Marilyn Monroe's hair is platinum blonde. Lady Gaga's hair is plantinum blonde and usually in a crazy updo.
3. Add pieces of clothing to your costume. They can be picked up at a thrift store or rented--or you may have something you can use in your own closet. Kate Gosselin is usually seen wearing a casual dress shirt and pants. Marilyn Monroe is famous for the white gown she wore. You will need a white or black leotard and stockings for a Lady Gaga costume.
4. Add accessories to your costume. For Kate Gosselin, a copy of her book and a handbag full of coupons would be great accessories. Marilyn Monroe's costume requires a pair of strappy heels and a bejeweled necklace and bracelet. Do not forget the bright red lipstick. Lady Gaga's leotard is accessorised with a big bow in the blonde wig, sunglasses, a colorful belt around the waist, and a pair of heels that match the belt.
5. Go out and amaze all party guests with your great costume.
