Coffee Shop
Whether or not you are a guy looking to meet other girls, or perhaps a girl hoping to meet other friends your age, there are various places to search. Think about not only where you may like to hang out but where other girls may be as well. Check out a few places before deciding which one will work in your best interest.
Library
Go to the library. Many girls like to read, so finding girls at the library should be fairly simple. Whether they are chilling out in the back corner reading a favorite book or even surfing the internet on one of the public computers, wait around to see if maybe you can get a few words in with the girl. Perhaps the library is holding a weekly event, such as a book signing or poetry reading. Although some girls found at the library are dedicated to an interest or getting school work accomplished, opening up a conversation may be just what the other girl needs.
Shopping Mall
Visit the local shopping mall. Girls work at the shops, whether it's at the food court or selling the latest earrings at the jewelry store. Cruise on by and check out the latest sales on something that may interest you. Perhaps you can ask for advice on a product or service and see how well she responds, and then take the conversation from there. If the girl works at one of the local food stands, hang around for a moment longer, catch her eye and give it your best shot at quick conversation. You can ask where she likes to shop or a favorite hang out close by. If you notice she is expressing an interest, ask her when she goes on break and maybe the two of you can get to know each other then.
Coffee Shop
Buy a cup of Joe at a local coffee shop. Girls are always hanging out in the cafe area, sipping on coffee, lattes or cups of hot chocolate on cold winter afternoons. Maybe they are hoping to get a burst of energy before studying for a big exam. Perhaps they just like hanging out in coffee shops and tasting new flavors. Buy yourself a cup, sit close by and stir up a conversation. Ask what she is drinking, and if you notice she is reading or writing, ask politely if she is studying or just passing the time. It may take awhile for the girl to open up, but a nice and relaxed atmosphere such as a coffee shop may help the girl feel comfortable continuing a conversation.
