There are some winter activities you can try in Boston.
Snow can pose a lot of trouble for people visiting the city of Boston, often causing businesses and schools to close. Vacationers want to take the time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. Staying in from the snow can be burdensome and boring. The following are some activities you can try when the snow starts to fall or after the flurries have passed. These are ideal for couples or families.
The Top of the Hub
This is an ideal way to view Boston after a big snowstorm. The Top of the Hub has the Skywalk Observatory, where you'll have a bird's eye view of the city. It costs $11 for adults, $7.50 for children and $9 for students.
Alternately, you can enjoy the skyline from The Top of the Hub restaurant instead. The restaurant serves brunch, dinner, dessert and lunch. Meals include Boston lobsters, New England clam chowder, beef, lamb, veal and chicken. There is also a vegetarian menu and wine list. For adults who want to relax, there's a jazz lounge in the area.
Reservations are required for both the restaurant and Skywalk Observatory.
