Grants From Endo Pharmaceuticals

Endo Pharmaceuticals offers grants to research institutions as well as local communities.

Endo pharmaceuticals, like many publicly run charities, offers philanthropic gifts to individuals and organizations that share their company's goals. 501(c)(3) organizations that apply and meet the proper criteria for receiving a grant from Endo Pharmaceuticals can receive a charitable gift from the corporation. Examples of groups that have received gifts from Endo Pharmaceuticals include the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, which in 2009 received funding for homeless health care and children with complex health needs. Research grants went to The Arthritis Foundation and The Cancer Research Institute.

Research and Fellowship Grants

Endo Pharmaceuticals gives to research institutes and fellowship programs where clinical research is being done in areas that are connected to Endo Pharmaceuticals' therapeutic focus. This includes pain, cancer for bladders and prostrates, acromegaly--a hormonal imbalance in the middle-aged--hypogonadism and central precocious puberty.

Requests made to the company can take up to 10 weeks to process. Endo Pharmaceuticals prefers giving for activities that have a direct impact rather than for events and general operations. They also note that organizations should consider any gift a one-time event and not plan on sustained giving by the company.

To apply for an education grant you will need to provide information including IRS Form-W9 with the group's taxpayer identification number or a social security number.

Local Communities

Endo Pharmaceuticals also supports local organizations that help to promote healthy lifestyles. Local groups that help enrich the lives of children in the Endo's local community are also welcome to submit proposals for a charitable contribution. National groups such as those focused on humanitarian efforts also fall into this category.

For local organizations seeking a corporate gift you can register and apply on line at the Endo Pharmaceuticals web site. Applicants will need to provide information on their program or event. If its an event applicants are asked to provide all sponsorship levels. Only online applications are accepted.

Endo Pharmaceuticals has locations in Chads Ford, PA; Westbury, NY and Cranbury, NJ. Organizations in these regions are most likely to be considered local.

Ineligible Groups

Groups heavily associated with politics are not eligible. Religious groups, international organizations, labor unions and individuals aren't supported, as well as medical education groups and sports teams. Those mailing, faxing or delivering requests will not be considered for contributions.
