Flea Killer Precautions

Make sure your pet needs a flea killer before applying one.


Most flea killers consist of chemicals, sometimes in pressurized containers. A pressurized container increases the hazards associated with that particular flea-killing product. Each type of flea killer should have warnings on the container, directions for use and a number to call for questions and instructions for proper disposal. Following precautions may save you or a loved one from injury or death.


Fogger


Indoor foggers are harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Before setting off foggers in the home, put away all food and cover all food preparation surfaces. Remove all pets from the home, except fish. Cover and turn off aquariums before spraying. Close all windows, turn off all heating and cooling devices and turn off all pilot lights. Do not use more than one fogger per room and do not use in rooms smaller than 5 feet by 5 feet.


Topical


A good-quality topical flea treatment, applied directly to your pet's skin, offers comprehensive treatment that kills fleas, larvae, eggs and lice. This type of product contains powerful insecticides that should not be used on pets younger than 8 weeks old. Any pet can show signs of allergy or sensitivity to active ingredients in the product. Watch pets for a reaction when using this type of product for the first time. Use the correct amount of product according to your pet's weight. Outdoor Spray

Flat Stomach Exercises

To achieve a flat stomach, you must do exercises for all abdominal muscles and cardio exercise to burn excess body fat. Interval cardio training exercises increase your metabolism so you'll lose the fat covering your stomach quickly. Three or four days a week of abdominal exercises will tighten your stomach muscles.


Interval Cardio Training


Instead of simply doing aerobic exercise at one level of light or moderate intensity, interval cardio training alternates between periods of moderate intensity and high intensity. As with any cardio or aerobic training, you should warm up for at least 5 minutes by doing some light exercise such as marching in place. You should also cool down after any workout with another 5 minutes of light exercise. During cardio training, start with 3 minutes of moderate intensity exercise such as jogging in place. Then, raise the intensity by walking stairs, jumping rope, or another exercise to increase your heart rate. Don't go above an 8 on an intensity scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest. Do high intensity for 1 minute. Repeat 3 minutes of moderate intensity followed by 1 minute of high-intensity cardio. Start with 10 to 20 minutes and work up to 30 minutes, not including the warm-up and cool-down period. Three to five days a week of interval training is good when you do light to moderate intensity cardio on other days, so you're getting at least 30 minutes of physical activity daily. Thirty minutes of strength and core training can count as physical activity.


Rectus Abdominus Exercises


The rectus abdominus muscles are the ones people generally think of as their stomach muscles. These are the muscles that make up a 6 pack. Exercises such as crunches, reverse crunches, sit-ups, ball roll-ups, decline crunches and ball roll backs work your rectus abdominus muscles. Adding a twist with your shoulders when doing crunches and decline crunches can tone your oblique muscles. Start with two sets of 12 reps and work up to three sets of 10 to 15. Most people are familiar with the crunch exercise, but reverse crunches also work the abdominals. To do reverse crunches, lie on your back with your arms resting at your sides and your legs straight. Lift your legs up in the air above your hips and flex your feet so that the soles of your feet are parallel to the floor. Push your lower back flat onto the floor. Lower your legs slowly toward the ground and keep your back flat. Lift your legs back up at the point where you can no longer maintain a flat back.


Transverse Abdominus Exercises


The transverse abdominus is a group of muscles that is deeper than the rectus abdominus. It's responsible for stabilizing your spine. When toned, it will pull in your abdomen and give you a flatter stomach. Exercises such as planks, elevators and pelvic tilts strengthen your transverse abdominus. Pelvic tilts are a simple exercise you can do lying down or against a wall. Lie face down on a mat with your legs straight and your arms relaxed to your sides. Tuck your hips and push your back flat against the floor. Hold for 5 seconds. Release and rest for a few seconds. Do another 10 reps.

There are numerous waterfalls in the North Georgia Mountains. Amicalola Falls are the tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge


Amicaloa Falls, named for a Cherokee word meaning "tumbling waters," measures 729 feet. The park is one of the most popular in Georgia. The facility has a number of hiking trails including one leading 8.5 miles to the beginning of the Appalachian Trail. There is a hiker's inn with room for 20 guests on the hiking trail. Twenty-four trailer, tent and RV campsites are available at a rate of $25 per night. The 14 cottages rent for $80 to $160 per night. Several cottages are located at the top of the falls as well a lodge with 56 rooms renting for $75 to $200 per night. Activities include hiking, picnicking, seasonal trout fishing, interpretive programs, gift shops, visitors center and photography. Hours for the park are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a $5 parking fee. All rates are as of Feb. 14, 2010.

Tallulah Gorge State Park


Tallulah Gorge State Park is operated by a partnership with Georgia Power Company. A suspension bridge 80 feet from the bottom gives spectacular views of the river and falls. The climb to the bridge is strenuous. Trails along the rim allow viewing for those not wanting to make the climb. One hundred free permits are issued per day for those wishing to reach the floor of the gorge. Facilities include a 63-acre lake with seasonal beach and 50 tent, trailer and RV campsites. Please call for rates. There is a picnic shelter available for $60 per day. The pioneer campground rents for $35 per day. Activities include more than 20 miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking. A 1.7-mile paved trail is available for bicycling. The park also hosts swimming, picnicking, ranger programs, fishing and a photo contest. A $5 parking permit is required. Park hours are 8 a.m. to dark. All rates are as of Feb. 14, 2010.

Black Rock Mountain State Park


Black Rock Mountain State Park is known for being the highest state park in Georgia at an elevation of 3,640 feet. Scenic overlooks provide spectacular views of lush forests, wildflowers, streams and small waterfalls. There are 44 tent, RV and trailer campsites with cable TV hookups that rent for $23 to $25 per night. Twelve walk-in campsites are available at a rate of $12 per night. The four backcountry campsites cost $6 per person per night. Ten cottages are available at rates $110 to $130 per night. Two picnic shelters are offered at a rate of $35 each. A group pioneer campground costs $100. There are eleven miles of hiking trails. An 11-acre lake offers opportunities to fish for bass, trout, bream, catfish and perch. Protection Status


Canada is serious about the protection status of the giant bluefin tuna.


Because of the endangered status of the giant bluefin tuna, there is a restricted season for harvesting them. Both the Canadian (Nova Scotia) and American governments recognize and respect these restrictions. For the rest of the year there is a catch-and-release policy, which means you can get the fight without the benefit of 500 pounds of meat to go with it. The season for harvesting opens in late September and ends in the last part of October or first part of November.

There is only one company based in Nova Scotia that specializes in the giant bluefin tuna charters.


You have the choice of using one of several private charter companies to fish for giant bluefin tuna or using the one that specializes in that popular fish. Giant Bluefin Tuna Charters is the company that sails out of Nova Scotia. The catch-and-release season opens in mid-August to the last week of September. If you are caught with a giant bluefin tuna outside of the catch-and-release and harvesting seasons, you can be fined and the charter-boat you are on can lose its license.

Is It Okay to Exercise?


Your first trimester of pregnancy is an exciting time. There is the impending birth of your newborn to think about, overwhelming morning sickness and some new aches and pains to contend with. Exercise is probably not high on your list of to-do items for the day, but making sure to take some time to get some healthy exercise is going to help you sleep better, alleviate some of your pregnancy pains and potentially assist with a happy and healthy overall pregnancy.


If you had a regular exercise regime before getting pregnant, for the most part you will be able to maintain it throughout your pregnancy with a couple adjustments. During your first trimester, your body is a bit more delicate than normal having to deal with so many changes happening internally. This is an important time for your baby's development, and your body is working overtime to make that happen. High-impact exercise is not going to assist with all the activity happening in your body. Find ways to change your routine to a lower impact, shorter interval exercise plan, and you will benefit through your entire pregnancy.


Make sure to talk with your doctor before doing any kind of exercise during your first trimester. For a normal pregnancy, there is no reason low-impact exercise cannot become part of your daily routine. New to exercise? Pregnancy is a great reason to start something new and begin a healthy habit such as daily exercise.


Walking


Find a comfortable route within your neighborhood to enjoy a nice walk outdoors. For your first trimester, you might want to start out with a 2-mile walk every three days. If you are feeling really motivated, walking a mile a day is a wonderful way to help keep morning sickness at bay and get a great workout. By walking longer distances or at a quicker pace, you can regulate how much exercise you get.


What Do I Need to Start?


Walking is a fantastic low-impact exercise to maintain during your first trimester. It doesn't put any unfamiliar stress on your body, and you can decide how much and how far you go. Even if you aren't up for a 2-mile walk, taking a quick stroll around the block will benefit you during your first trimester in many ways. Pilates


Pilates is another low-impact exercise that uses your body as resistance to create a comfortable and easy exercise during your first trimester. Some poses and positions are not suggested for pregnant women, but you can find many DVDs or even a local Pilates class for pregnant women that will provide great results. Pilates was invented in the 20th century by Joseph Pilates in Germany and is focused on the concentration of breath and core alignment. Practicing Pilates promotes good circulation, great posture and lean muscle. Pilates combines the mental and physical, creating a flowing and challenging workout. Following the philosophy that Joseph Pilates started, movements are fluid, the exercises can be done slowly or quickly, and the body's "powerhouse" is focused on creating a solid body structure that is lean and sculpted. This promotes better posture and body movement.

Whatever exercise you choose to do during your first trimester, remember to listen to your body. If you feel dizzy, stressed or nauseous, stop exercising right away and take some time to cool down. Fire fighter fitness training focuses on a mix of strength and endurance.


The physical fitness you maintain as a fire fighter serves not just to help with the job, but to protect your life and the lives of those around you. With the mix of weight-bearing and cardiovascular stress experienced during the fighting of fires on a daily basis, you will require a unique mix of high level fitness training.


Health Considerations


Before taking on new physical training, it is a good idea to consult your doctor. With the awkward and jarring nature of fire fighting efforts, and the intense stress they place on the cardiovascular system, fire fighter training is a strenuous task for even the most fit. A doctor's evaluation is a mandate of formal fire fighter training, and should be considered a requirement for recreational training as well.


Basic Levels of Fitness


The chopping, hoisting and dragging activities of fire fighting are very taxing on the body. As such, before starting any type of fire fighter training routine, it is important to have a strong level of strength and endurance fitness. A balanced routine of running and weightlifting maintained for at least a month or two prior to the specialized training will help prepare the body for the more strenuous activities to come. Try jogging every other day, building up a little every week, and participating in some weightlifting on those days when you don't jog. When weight training, work the entire body with an emphasis on strengthening your legs, back and shoulders, as they will be used the most in your fire fighter training.


Getting Started


When you start learning fire fighter training exercises, build up slowly. Because so many of the hoisting, chopping and dragging movements of fire fighting have negative impacts on the body, trying to do too much too fast will cause a bodily injury. A good way to ward of injury is to find exercises that offer the same motion dynamics while lessening the impact. For instance, chopping at buildings with an ax is a common necessity in firefighting, but training by chopping at wood can wear down the shoulder and elbows, and cause life-long problems. Instead, find a large tractor tire and strike it with a long-handled sledgehammer. This motion incorporates all of the same muscle groups and the weight of the ax without the jarring impact.


Movement Training


As mentioned previously, ax work is an important movement in firefighting, but hoisting, dragging and carrying are also vital. To prepare for such activities, you must practice them. Beginning in segments, practice one movement a day, eventually adding additional movements over weeks and months. As your strength and endurance improve, start doing multiple movements each day until you are able to run through a circuit of all necessary exercises in full fire fighter protective gear.


Get Plenty of Sleep


Fire fighter training is very hard on the body. The constant injuries that can result from physical labor can, over time, weaken the body and cause sickness and injury. To keep from experiencing symptoms of over-training, it is important to get plenty of sleep. Rest in general is good, but nothing helps the body repair more than sleep. Listen to your body and plan on getting at least nine hours of uninterrupted sleep on the nights following difficult sessions.


Take Breaks


As with any high intensity training, it is necessary to take days and weeks off on occasion. While extra rest and sleep can help, it is necessary to give your body time to repair and rest. The never-ending grind of fire fighter training can also be difficult mentally. Taking periodic breaks can help recharge your mental resources and help you maintain a fitness level that saves lives.

Firefighter Training

Firefighter training is highly intensive and involves drills, simulations and classroom instruction. Effects

These will be required to take the three examinations to enter the training program: a written test to assess basic verbal and communication skills, a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) to assess physical fitness and an aptitude test to assess general math, logic and reasoning skills.

Firefighters must be prepared to work in a high-stress environment and within a moment's notice. Those who are in training and in active duty must stay in peak physical condition to handle the stresses of the job and undertake several physically challenging activities. Firefighters must learn think clearly and solve problems. Firefighters must learn exercise sound judgment under pressure and be resourceful, and must acquire nonverbal communication skills.

FFA fundraisers can be fun and successful.


The National FFA Organization, formerly Future Farmers of America, is a youth organization that promotes agricultural education through instruction and hands-on experience. Members gain practical knowledge through participation in student-led activities and fundraisers. While common fundraising methods---selling discount cards, car washes and the like---are dependable, interactive community activities can be more fun and even more successful.


Community Yard Sale


Organizing a community yard sale is a simple task but requires a couple months of advance planning. First, pick a date. Also consider choosing a rain date if the sale will be outside. Participants pay an entrance fee--around $25 is a reasonable amount--and compete to win a prize and the title of Best Chili Chef, awarded by a panel of judges. The shoe last, which is the shape of the shoe, is important as it supports foot motion. Lasts should match your foot shape and they can be straight, curved or partially curved. The toe-box is located to the front of the shoe, and should be roomy enough to allow muscle and tendon movement. Midsole Reliability


The midsole, located between the shoe outsole and the upper sole, offers stability and cushioning needed for a runner. The midsole can be made of lightweight ethyl vinyl acetate, or EVA, which provides greater shock absorption, or of polyurethane, which is heavy but durable and offers greater stability. Sometimes, it is a combination of both materials.


Foot Shape


A runner's foot can be flat, high-arched or normal-ached. Individuals with flat feet can consider running shoes with a semi-curved or straight last and polyurethane midsole for better foot motion and stability. Shoes with a curved or semi-curved last, an EVA midsole and a lightweight outsole offer efficient flexibility, motion control and cushioning for high-arched feet. Normal-arched feet work well with a straight or half-curved last, carbon rubber outsole and a combination of EVA and polyurethane midsole for better shock absorption and stability.

Because of their increased intensity, these interval workouts should only last 20 to 30 minutes. According to Shape Fit, a 145 pound runner can burn 300 calories in only 30 minutes of running, depending on the speed and intensity of the workout.

It may seem strange that each type of running workout has set time limits, but the human body will only burn fat for so long before it moves on to easier and more efficient energy sources.


Author Josh Clark of Cool Running, an Internet running resource and encyclopedia, advises that as your body tires, it stops burning fat and calories and turns to reserves of glycogen or sugar, which are easier to break down for energy. Therefore, after 30 to 40 minutes of high intensity running or one hour of slow running, your are no longer burning fat.


Remember that you should push your body, but you also must respect its limits. Never run if you are in pain (a different sensation than simply soreness) or suspect an injury. Maintain a healthy diet to give your body the fuel it needs for any type of running workout.

The pain strikes without warning, often as you sleep. Nothing will get your attention quicker than a leg cramp. If you are prone to leg cramps there are some relatively easy adjustments you can make that will likely lessen the frequency.


Instructions


1. Know that leg cramps happen when certain muscles contract suddenly. The resulting pain is immediate and can be quite intense. Fortunately, most leg cramps last only seconds or a couple of minutes. Some can last longer but that is not as common. Leg cramps can often occur at night, causing a disruption in sleep. Sometimes simple changes in your water intake, weight loss or exercise adjustments can reduce the occurrences of leg cramps.


2. Remember that when the body is not properly hydrated, leg cramps are more apt to occur. A simple increase in water every day could reduce the severity and/or number of cramps you're having. If you most often experience leg cramps at night, try drinking a glass of water an hour before you go to bed. It is also extremely important that you keep your body hydrated during exercise. Drink water several times during your exercise routine. While hydrating before and after exercise is good, hydrating during your routine is even better. You could find better results if you reduce the water you take in before and after exercise and spread it out over the entire course of working out, having four or five water breaks from beginning to end instead of two and continuing to intermittently hydrate for a couple of hours after finishing.


3. Know that your leg cramps could be due to changes in your exercise program. If you've added new exercises that focus on leg muscles or if you've increased the number of repetitions in leg exercises, that could be putting an added strain on the muscles that cause them to constrict later. Also, you might want to get a trainer's advice on properly exercise leg muscles just to make sure the manner in which you're doing leg exercises is correct.


4. Be aware that if you've just begun a new exercise program, pay careful attention to stretching and not going for too much too fast. Never neglect the important step of any exercise program, which is thoroughly stretching the muscles. Doing so can cause far greater injury than leg cramps. Equally important is not too get overly enthusiastic too fast. Gradually build on your exercise routine. To use an old saying, Rome wasn't built in a day. Don't try to go full throttle with exercising. Exercise progress should be steady and gradual and should always begin with thorough stretching.


5. Make sure you have good athletic shoes that give you full support if you are running or walking for exercise. If you wear heels every day or if you tend to wear a variety of styles over the course of a week, this could be contributing to your leg cramps. Try to wear shoes that have have excellent support and do not put too much strain on any particular part of your legs, back or feet.


6. Know that cramps can be the result of a lack of potassium. You can increase potassium in your diet through potassium-rich foods such as bananas or apple cider vinegar (mix 2 tsp with a glass of warm water) or by taking a potassium supplement. You should check with your physician first. He may want to do blood work to determine your electrolyte and potassium levels.


7. Consider taking a very warm shower before bedtime to help relax your muscles. Try to avoid excessive standing, use of stairs or exercise the last couple of hours before bed. For immediate relief, gently rub the muscle. If this doesn't work, carefully stretch the muscle or try standing up. Once the pain has subsided, apply a warm compress to the area or take a hot shower. If your cramps are intense and very frequent, consult your physician about possible muscle relaxing medications.

The station is not famous for its design, but for Lucille Hamon, who ran the station for the most part of 59 years, single-handedly. Hamon's ran the station after a divorce and after the road was cut off from the main Route 66. Hamon has even written a book about her experiences and Route 66. Lucille died in August 2000, but visitors are still welcome to come and take a picture on site.


Jack Colker Union 76 Station


Jack Colker Union 76 Station is on Crescent Drive in Beverley Hills, California. This building has a gigantic curved, trianglar roof, originally designed for LAX airport. It wasn't needed for the airport so it was installed at this gas station. This gas station is now considered to be a triumph in modernist architecture.


Petrified Wood Gas Station


The Petrified Wood gas station is in Lamar, Colorado. This station was built in 1932 by a lumber dealer named W.G. Brown. Brown built the station's walls and floors entirely with petrified wood. Some of the wood is now believed to be over 175 million years old. As of 2011, the Petrified Wood gasoline station is now owned by a car dealership and tire company. The structure itself remains as it was built in 1932.


Crochet Gas Station


The Crochet gas station is in Syracuse, New York. This abandoned gas station was used as part of artist Jennifer Marsh's World Reclamation Art Project. The station became the site of an installation that was created on May 5, 2007. The station was completely covered in 3-foot square patches of crochet that have been made by fiber artists from all over the world. The installation was used to call attention to the world's reliance on oil.

How Make My Golf Cart Idle

Safety features are designed into the operational aspects of golf carts.


One of the safety features on a golf cart is cutting out the engine when the gas pedal is not in use. Many golf enthusiasts understand the importance of this safety feature. However, those who use a golf cart for purposes other than golfing may view it as unimportant. Security guards at airports who shuttle passengers back and forth, for example, have no need to have the engine shut off. Having the golf cart idle makes their job faster and easier. Remove the speed governor to shut this safety feature off on a golf cart.


Instructions


1. Find the throttle cable on the golf cart. The throttle cable runs from the gas pedal to the throttle valve on the engine. Lift the seat to find the throttle cable.


2. Take an open-end wrench and remove the nut connecting the throttle cable to the throttle valve on the valve body of the engine.


3. Elevate the gas pedal to find the throttle cable connection. Use an open-end wrench to remove the throttle cable. Go back to the valve body on the engine and remove the throttle cable by pulling the cable from that direction.


4. Look for a relay switch that closes when the golf cart accelerates on the throttle cable. Remove this relay switch with a flathead screwdriver.


5. Thread the throttle cable back in place from the gas pedal to the throttle valve body on the engine. Push the throttle cable toward the throttle valve body on the engine from the gas pedal position.


6. Screw the throttle cable back in place on both the gas pedal and the throttle valve body on the engine. The golf cart will idle rather than shut off.

In the United States, 35 states allow online application for SNAP, or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, SNAP has eschewed food stamp coupons in favor of EBT, or electronic benefit transfer debit cards, which are preloaded every month with an amount of credit. SNAP EBT cards can be used at participating grocery stores, farmers' markets or convenience stores to help feed your household with nutritional, healthy, non-prepared foods.


Instructions


1. Determine your eligibility for SNAP online. The USDA Food and Nutrition Service website provides an online questionnaire to determine if you meet the federal requirements for SNAP, which are mandated at the state level. Applicants should have all income, asset and dependent or household information ready prior to starting the online pre-screening questionnaire. Items to have on hand include the monthly income of each household member, information pertaining to your household assets and resources, your rent or lease information, your household, healthcare or childcare bills, and the social security or disability benefits of all household members, if this is applicable to your household.


2. Visit the USDA's Nutrition and Food Services website to determine if your state provides an online application for SNAP. To find a list of all participating states, start at the homepage and click on "Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program" in the "Programs" section. On the subsequent page, click on "Learn Apply For Benefits" in the "Applicants and Recipients" section. Scroll down for a list of all states with online application availability.


3. Visit your local SNAP office website if you live in a state that provides online application for the program. To locate the website of your county's SNAP office, start at the USDA Food and Nutrition Services homepage and click on "Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program" in the "Programs" section. On the next page, click on "Learn Apply for Benefits," located in the "Applicants and Recipients" section. Be A Fast Runner

Anyone can become a faster runner with determination and persistence.


Running is something that almost everyone can do; at its most basic level, it is simply a quickening of your normal walking pace. If you want to increase your running speed, follow these steps to help increase your pace. Although there are many scientific ways to become a faster runner by working specifically on footwork, breath control, and arm motion, the steps outlined below will help you become faster at your normal jogging routine without getting bogged down with formal footwork and arm movement.


Instructions


1. Start working on your running turnover. Begin by running at a pace you would jog for an 800-meter race, which about 70 percent of your maximum pace for 30 seconds, while counting the number of times your right foot hits the ground. Recover by slowing to a jog for a minute, and then repeat. Try to get a higher number of right-foot counts during each 30-second interval.


2. Randomly throw in five or six intense sprints during your normal jogging routine. Listen to your body, and stop sprinting when you need to recover. Keep adding time to these sprints week after week, and soon the duration of your sprints will increase to a minute or more, improving your running strength and speed.


3. Find a steep hill with a slope about 100 yards long, and run hard to the top. Jog slowly back down, and repeat this fast hill climb three or four times. Gradually work your way up to six or seven repetitions of this hill climb.


4. Find a running buddy to keep you on-track with your goals. Getting discouraged is easy unless someone is there to urge you to keep pushing, and reach the place you want be in your running. A running buddy motivates you to keep working out, and gives you someone to talk to during your workouts.


5. Rest from running at least once a week. Let your body recover, even if you want to run hard every day. Giving yourself a recovery day helps prevent injuries, and keeps you from burning out.

4. Competing in AVP events will take you to many travel destinations. You could earn a reasonable living playing professional volleyball if you are talented and determined enough to do so.


5. Kick start your career in pro volleyball by competing in AVP events on a regular basis. You should contact a talent agent if you want to endorse volleyball-related products. You could potentially earn a substantial amount of money by doing so.

Harbor Cruise and Sea Lion Adventure


Cruise 13 miles of the San Diego Bay with a narrated tour featuring landmarks, wildlife and local environmental efforts. In addition, video clips and displays provide information on 50 landmarks along with military history. With six to seven departures daily, depending on the length of tour you choose, you can enjoy everything the bay has to offer in comfortable indoor and outdoor accommodations. As of 2010, adult tickets for a one-hour tour are $20; senior and military, $18; children ages 4 to 12, $10; and kids under 4 are free. A two-hour tour costs $5 more for adults and $2.50 more for children. Reservations are not required and tickets can be obtained at the ticket booth or on the website. Special pricing is available for groups of 20 or more and reservations are needed.

Nightly Sunset Dinner Cruise


This three-hour dinner cruise around the San Diego Bay features a three course meal. Upon boarding, servers greet you a complimentary glass of champagne or sparkling cider. The view changes along with the courses. Disc jockey entertainment and dancing are provided on the main dining level. Wine, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and premium desserts are available as an upgrade. Vegetarian options are also available. The seating is arranged by individual tables so guests can have privacy. As of 2010, dinners start at $69.95 per person and boarding begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the booth, online or by phone. Be prepared to book in advance if you're celebrating something special or for holidays.
